Kel-Mar completed a general contracting project for the renovations of the 4th, 10th and 25th floors for QBE Reinsurance in NYC. Retrofitting this space included painting, new carpeting, ceilings and lighting, as well as new wood doors and hardware. Kel-Mar provided minor revisions to the sprinkler system and HVAC, furnished one new supplemental unit and replaced two existing units. Other work included new pantry, copy and file rooms, as well as the powering up of all new work stations. As a result of Kel-Mar’s performance on this phase, they were given the opportunity and were subsequently awarded a second and appreciably larger project for QBE – a 30,000 sq. ft. interior gut renovation.
